Urban Chic

This pattern lends itself to many design options. Use novelty prints in the centers to create theme quilts (holidays, juvenile, sports, baby, etc.) The sample design uses the same two perimeter fabrics throughout the quilt with assorted center fabrics. You could reverse this approach and use the same fabric for all 42 centers but use various light and dark fabrics for the perimeters. The options are endless!

Note that the light and dark perimeters have two fabrics that are seamed in several places, so choose perimeter fabrics such as tone on tones, solids, textures or small overall prints. Fabrics with symmetrical and/or directional patterns are not suitable.
