Sewing Mastery

Ready to take on more ambitious garments and refine your craft?
Sewing Mastery is designed for skilled sewists who are ready to tackle more advanced techniques, complex garment construction, and refined finishing methods. This class focuses on precision, fit, and craftsmanship while working on thoughtfully chosen, instructor-approved projects.
Students may explore projects such as button-up shirts and dresses, pants with zipper closures, jeans, jackets, simple coats, knit garments, bias-cut pieces, and garments made with more challenging fabrics. With guided instruction and individualized support, you'll deepen your understanding of garment construction, improve fitting skills, and elevate the quality of your finished pieces.
Class size is limited to 8 students to allow for focused instruction and meaningful progress.
This class is designed for sewists who already have a strong foundation and are ready to expand their skills with more complex and enriching projects.
Prerequisite: Completion of Sewing Confidence Class (click here) (or equivalent experience) AND instructor approval required prior to registration. Please call to schedule an appointment with the instructor. Bring your completed Sewing Confidence Checklist as well as 5 garments or projects that best demonstrate your skills to the appointment.

| Instructor Bio: | Erin has been sewing since childhood, but it wasn't until she attended The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) and graduated with a degree in Fashion Design that she really understood sewing and garment construction. She hopes to motivate and empower other people to make their own clothes and to accept their wonderful bodies as they are today. |
