Sewing Confidence

You've learned the basics — now it's time to build confidence.
Sewing Confidence is designed for the beginner who is ready to move beyond fundamentals and begin making thoughtfully constructed garments and accessories. In this class, you will choose from a curated list of instructor-approved patterns and develop your skills through guided, hands-on practice.
Students will begin by creating a mock-up in muslin fabric (or second-hand bedsheet!), learning how to interpret patterns, understand fabric choices, cut with accuracy, and apply foundational sewing construction techniques. Along the way, you'll refine your skills, troubleshoot common challenges, and gain the confidence to approach new projects with clarity and intention. Review the supply list (link below) ahead of time to ensure you have everything needed for class.
This class meets four Fridays per month and is designed for continued growth — students are welcome to enroll multiple times as they build foundational skills and confidence with increasingly complex projects. Class size is limited to 8 students to allow for focused instruction and meaningful progress.
Prerequisite: Foundations of Sewing Class (click here) (or equivalent experience).
Ages: 18+
No drop-ins or guests please.
Join us to slow down, build confidence, and take the next meaningful step in your sewing journey.
