Fabric Requirements
2-3/4 yards - Cream for blocks and Inner Border
12 fat quarters or 1/3 yard cuts of Color fabrics for blocks
Cover Sample used 6 blue and 6 red batiks
Outer Border: 1-1/4 yards
Backing: 5-1/4 yards of 44" wide fabric OR 2-1/4 of 108" wide fabric
Batting: 68" x 83" minimum size
Binding: 1/2 yard
Helpful but not required:
8 1/2" square quilters ruler (larger will work too)
4" x 2" Bloc-loc Flying Geese ruler (a great tool but not required)
Quilter’s ruler 6" or 6 1/2" wide and 18” long ruler. (largest cuts are 5 1/4" x WOF)

Bring:
Sewing machine in good working condition, plus sewing machine’s instruction manual
Rotary cutter with sharp blade and cutting mat
Piecing thread that matches your light color fabric
Thread cutting scissors
Seam ripper
Straight pins
You are welcome to pre-cut your fabrics but it is not required.
