In our T-shirt Poncho Upcycle Workshop, you’ll learn how to transform your old tee into a stylish, wearable poncho with just a few simple stitches! Whether you're a total beginner or have some sewing experience, this class is perfect for anyone looking to add a creative twist to their wardrobe.
First class on 3/16/24 at 10:00-11:00am: No sewing at this Pre-Class Meet-up! Bring in your T-shirt and poncho sleeve fabric to talk to the instructor about your supplies and anything else you might need to purchase to make your T-shirt Poncho uniquely YOU!
Second class on 3/22/24 at 10:00am-2:00pm: In this class you will cut and sew your sleeve fabric to your T-shirt and create a stylish poncho!

| Instructor Bio: | Erin has been sewing since childhood, but it wasn't until she attended The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) and graduated with a degree in Fashion Design that she really understood sewing and garment construction. Lately, Erin has been working towards a fully home sewn wardrobe and sharing her experience with the sewing community on Instagram. She has a You Tube channel with the main focus on sustainable sewing and creative refashioning, all in an effort to be a good steward of the Earth. She hopes to motivate and empower other people to make their own clothes and to accept their wonderful bodies as they are today.
