Learn To Crochet

New crocheters, and returning crocheters, who want a refresher, will have a fun hands-on experience learning the basics of crochet, making easy projects that will encourage creativity!

***Note: Please have the items in the supply list for Session 1***

Session 1
Students will learn to create basic crochet stitches, how to read a pattern, 
gauge, hook sizes, types of yarn for the crochet, reading the yarn label, 
finishing a project, & discuss helpful crochet guides and books
Discuss the two class projects
Session 2 
Project: Begin a one color loopy edge scarf that has great beginning features including edge finishes and fringe.
Free pattern will be provided

Session 3 
Project: Crochet a five-color granny square pincushion
Work in the round, learn color change

Instructor Bio: Hello everyone, I'm Pat Godkin and I love all forms of hand needlework! My mother-in-law started me on this adventure which is still very much part of my life. I have learned much of my craft through classes and many crochet-along projects with accomplished pattern designers. I enjoy projects that add to my skill building that I would love to share with you.
