Simple Sewing - Shirt No.1

We will use the simple beginner patterns from 100 Acts of Sewing Patterns, by Sonya Phillip to learn how to make the Shirt No. 1 with an easy front modification, pockets, embroidery, trim and embellishments.

Session 1: Discuss pattern design, seam finish decision, tracing your patterns, making bias tape optional) & transferring pattern to fabric 

Session 2: Sewing your shirt, how to cut the neckline, attach bias tape & pockets 

Session 3: Adding embroidery, pieced patches to shirt

***You must take Foundations of Sewing prior to this course or get approval of the instructor***
