Intermediate Sewing

Do you have numerous beginner sewing projects under your belt?  Are you ready to try some more challenging sewing projects?  Our Intermediate Sewing class is the place to perfect your sewing and garment fitting skills, and tackle those projects that seemed too difficult at the beginning of your sewing journey: button up shirts and dresses, pants with zipper closures, jeans, jackets, simple coats, t-shirts and other knit garments, bias cut skirts and dresses, or anything made with a tricky fabric.

Class size is limited to 8 students.  No drop-ins please.

Instructor: Erin Morrison
Instructor Bio: Erin has been sewing since childhood, but it wasn't until she attended The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) and graduated with a degree in Fashion Design that she really understood sewing and garment construction. Lately, Erin has been working towards a fully home sewn wardrobe and sharing her experience with the sewing community on Instagram. She has a You Tube channel with the main focus on sustainable sewing and creative refashioning, all in an effort to be a good steward of the Earth. She hopes to motivate and empower other people to make their own clothes and to accept their wonderful bodies as they are today. Instagram @theclotheserinsews You Tube :
