Tamarack Quilted Jacket
In this class we will use the Grainline Studio Tamarack Jacket pattern to make a cozy, quilted jacket. The paper pattern can be purchased in store for sizes 0-18 or 14-30, and an add on PDF pattern including Hood, Collar and Patch Pockets may be found at https://grainlinestudio.com .
Skills learned in this class include sewing and binding bulky layers, welt pocket insertion, and finishing seams with bias binding.
Your fabric should be quilted before your pattern pieces are cut. Once signed up, you will receive an email from the instructor about preparing for the first class meeting.

| Instructor Bio: | Erin has been sewing since childhood, but it wasn't until she attended The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) and graduated with a degree in Fashion Design that she really understood sewing and garment construction. Lately, Erin has been working towards a fully home sewn wardrobe and sharing her experience with the sewing community on Instagram. She has a You Tube channel with the main focus on sustainable sewing and creative refashioning, all in an effort to be a good steward of the Earth.
