Patchwork Duffle
You really can carry it all with this giant duffle bag! Choose between a solid exterior fabric or scrap it up with some patchwork. There are two exterior pockets. Fill it up and take it on a trip!
We'll have two classes. In the first we will cut and quilt the exterior fabric and in the second we will piece the bag together.
***Please do NOT cut fabric prior to our first meeting***
For our first meeting you will need ... Main Fabric: 1 yard (or 12 fat eighths), lining fabric: 1 yard, exterior accent, 1 package of Annie's Soft and Stable
I will have examples of the strap webbing. zipper and hardware that you will need to have for our second meeting.
Sewing machine, walking foot, matching thread, your preferred tool for marking fabric, 24" long ruler, cutting mat, rotary cutter, safety pins: medium-sized
In our second class, you will need some additional supplies but I have found it much easier to show you your options for these items and to talk about them with you. There will be time to obtain these items prior to our second meeting.
