Beginning Sewing

You've learned how to sew on your machine, now what?  Welcome to Beginning Sewing!  In this class you will choose from a list of teacher approved patterns to practice your beginner sewing skills and build confidence in your sewing practice.  You will start by making a mock up of your chosen pattern in muslin fabric and learn how to interpret patterns and fabrics, proper cutting, understand different techniques and troubleshoot the inevitable wonky seam.  Bring your seam ripper and join us to level up your sewing skills.  Students are welcome to repeat this class as many times as desired in order to hone their skills.

Class size is limited to 8 students.  No drop-ins please.

***You must take Foundations of Sewing prior to this course or get approval of the instructor***
